Hilloween

An annual benefit/party called Hilloween was raising money for Team Smile this year so we attended. We dressed as pirates.

KC Wolfe was in attendance. Since we are pretty much wallflowers we had the luck of KC Wolfe deciding to use the empty space in front of us as his stage.

Travel to Utah and Back

We felt like we saw a lot of blessings on our trip to my Grandpa's funeral. It was a very quick trip, but the kids did amazing.  We should of run out of gas between I-70 and Price, on the most dangerous highway in the world.. in the rain, but we did not.  Cooper fell asleep right at the beginning of the funeral and slept through it so I could actually hear it and be there. It was a wonderful service and though quick it was great to see so many people I love that I have not seen in years and years.

Hugs Goodbye

Tucker bought the kids these fans with candy in the bottom at a gas station in Wyoming. They seriously entertained them all the way home. Also, some random lady there gave Jill a book. Score.

Mom and Dad with all their grandkids (minus Kenzie and Porter actually)

Crashed

What are we doing?!?

Burton Gee

My grandpa passed away on September 21, 2013.  He was buried in Moroni, Utah where he grew up. It was near a beloved campsite that we spent many hours bonding as a family when I was a kid. All of his grandchildren were in attendance. I feel grateful to be his granddaughter and to have gotten to spend so much special time with him.  We love him very much but are happy for him to have his mind fully at use again in the hereafter. I love you Grandpa!

Tucker and I were married in the Manti temple.. just like my grandparents, Dorothy and Burt Gee.

My grandfather was a very well loved man. It is evident here on the faces of my brothers and cousins who loved him dearly that his life touched all of us.

And more..

Cooper made me this "horse" and told me "happy birthday Mama." It was a few weeks after my birthday but he's a thoughtful boy.

This mushroom is huge! It grows along the road where we walk to the bus stop.

Cooper really got into painting for a while.

We did some dog sitting for the hygienist that Tucker works with.  The dog, Dottie, is a chi-weenie. The kids loved it.

Every once and awhile Cooper wants a hair do. It normally lasts about 5 minutes.

Jill color codes her shirt drawer. She is so much more like Mumsy than me.

Cooper learned to ride his tricycle.

Jill wanted a picture of her room that she cleaned and organized. Pretty impressive right?

We did some exploring around town and went on a walk on this trail where Tuck used to do cross country training. They had monkey bars and we were shocked to discover Jill can do them!

Crazy sock day!

Chiefs Pre Season Game

Tucker's boss gave us some tickets to a preseason game.  The kid's favorite part was a horse that would run out on the field when they scored.

Couldn't hold Cooper's interest.. much to Tucker's disappointment. Andy probably liked it the most out of all the kids. He would clap and dance to the music.
