Camping at Watkins Mill

11/8/2013-  We took advantage of probably the last possible day to go camping of the year and went out to Watkin's Mills. It was a last minute decision and pretty exciting. We got one of the last spots but had a good time. It was colder than we expected and a good "learning" experience. We will try to be much more prepared in the future.  At least the kids were excited and had a good time. In the middle of the night we woke up to hear something scurrying around our tent. I was really spooked and woke Tucker. He got up and tried to scare whatever it was away. It made a real impression on Cooper. He has been talking about it for like 5 months!
Coop and his Daddy roasting marshmallows. We had to work real hard to get this fire going!

Jilly and I

The awesome hair that comes from a terrible fitful night of naps in our freezing tent : )

Cooper wet his pants multiple times during the night. We ran out of pants

He had to wear his sisters pants home

Powdered doughnuts for breakfast!!

Cute little Camper peeking out of the tent!

Trying out the panoramic function on my phone. Our view walking to the bathrooms from the camp site.
