2 months

Anderson had his 2 month check up today. He is 24.5" and 13#. 90th percentile all around. I feel like he is smaller than coop but I looked it up and they are pretty close.. Coop has him beat by just a tad. He was so sad after his shots... Real tears and all!

Our sweet boy was blessed on February 3rd.  I will be adding to this post but couldn't wait to share these pictures.

Being a big kid

Jill had her 5 year old check up last week. She was very worried about maybe needing a shot. She kept asking throughout the visit. After the doctor said she did need shots she looked at me and asked so tentatively "so.... I don't need a shot?" She was so sweet it was terrible to have to tell her she did need some. She was trying so hard to be brave but I could see her little face fall and she was trying so hard not to cry. To cheer her up I had her flex her muscles to show daddy how tough and brave she is. She loves flexing, pictures, and texting daddy so this helped. She looked at the picture and told me her face was red because she was trying so hard not to cry.
She had a song she wanted to sing during the shots but when the time came it escaped her so we used the old stand by... The ABCs. She did really well and was so proud!
